KIWANIS ORGANIZATIONS OUR CLUB SUPPORTS

The CIRCLE K organization at UC Davis is one of the largest clubs in Circle K International. The Kiwanis-Circle K partnership is invaluable to both of us.  For more information about the Circle K organization please visit our UCD Circle K page. Surface mail may be addressed to: Circle K, Student Activities Box 256, UC Davis, CA 95616

The KIWANIS FAMILY HOUSE is located at the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. The development of this facility marks one of the first successful efforts by a community group to establish a temporary home for families of children of every socio-economic class who suffer from the entire range of pediatric diseases. Our club and the KFH relationship is overseen by our member, Adrian Bowen. Surface mail may be addressed to: Kiwanis Family House, P.O. Box 189091, Sacramento, CA 95818-9091. See related story of Home Depot.   Community members are encouraged to volunteer for front desk duties. See Adrian's photos at the house.  2006 brought a lot of excitement as we finally moved into our new facility.  You could say that 2006 was our banner year.

Our major focus has always been the well-being of the youth and seniors of our city and the surrounding area. We try to identify important unmet needs in the community and to determine how we best might contribute toward meeting those needs.

FUND-RAISERS

We have multiple projects and fund-raisers. However, our major fund-raisers are annual affairs. Examples of the past are the all-you-can-eat Pancake Breakfast,  the very popular Kiwanis Crab & Pasta Feed, the Golf for Kids Tournament and the Oktoberfest. There are other fund-raising projects we sponsor and participate, too numerous to mention here. Take a look at our Events page.
