Kiwanis Installs Flags for Veterans Day

On thursday, flags will flutter through downtown Davis in obserance of Veterans Day, as they do on every national holiday.

The new Sacto Pro Football Team the "Mountain Lions" is playing the "Florida Tuskers" will play at the Sac State Hornet Stadium. $20 w/half going to the team. We have a chance to win $1000. Proceeds from this Creelman-Francisco outing go to the Kiwanis Family House and other Kiwanis charities. Shotgun start at 7:30am. Sign up with Adrian Bowen. July 29 and Aug 10, 2010 Both Davis Clubs will meet together on these dates. July 12, 2010 Italian Dinner KFH Fundraiser at the Towe Auto Museum in Sacramento. July 3, 2010 Save yourself for a work party at the Enchanted Hills Lighthouse for the Blind. It's been a few years since we've been up there. June 26, 2010 Special Olympics at UCD. We are purchasing the food and cooking hot dogs for this event. June 11, 2010 Grad Nite for Davis High Schools. Our shift is 1am-4am. Volunteer with Vic Lim. June 24-27, 2010 Kiwanis Int'l Convention in Las Vegas, NV May 27, 2010 Attend our luncheon meeting today. Today is our official "Annual Meeting" of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Davis. Apr 29, 2010 Our 50th Annual Golf Tourney at Davis Municipal. Proceeds from this Creelman-Francisco outing go to the Kiwanis Family House. Golf $47, Steak dinner $16, Cart $12. Shotgun start at 1:00pm. See Adrian Bowen for participation. Apr 11, 2010 2009-2010 Cal-Nev-Ha Governor's Official Visit. Gov. Talley and guests of Divisions 7, 27 & 44. California Automobile Museum, 2200 Front St., Sacramento. $10 per attendee includes free parking and museum admission. Apr 10, 2010 Kiwanis Int'l "Kiwanis One Day" project. Our club will be assisting the UCD Circle K with their "Relay for Life" project along with Kiwanis Kids, Builders Club, Key Club, Aktion Club.
